Candida and Cancer

After receiving HBOT my Candida cleared up for the first time in 35 years.

My brother contracted Impetigo when we were in our teens. Since it is quite contagious it affected me as well. With time and treatment the Impetigo cleared up. Unfortunately though from that point to last fall, some 35 years, I suffered badly from chronic rectal itching. Various treatments from my doctors over the years provided temporary relief but really did not work. The treatments were steroid and antibiotic creams as well as oral anti-biotic and anti-fungal.

Naturopathic treatments and self-help approaches also didn't work. I went on different diets including anti-Candida diets and although they helped my general feeling of well-being they did not manage to end the problem. The longest I lasted on a strict anti-Candida diet was nine months.

Besides the itching later I suffered from inability to concentrate and eventually depression. For the last five or six years I often was not able to work.

When I started the HBOT for my cancer I noticed that after treatments the itchy feeling was better for a while. This was really hopeful so I turned to the Internet to see if anyone knew about this. I remember showing Bill a study indicating Candida would be killed when High Pressure HBOT was combined with anti-fungals (nystatin?). I didn't have nystatin so I took caproil orally and applied it topically in the run up to the treatment. With longer higher pressure treatment the itching cleared up and I was able to go back to work.

Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Migraines

I have SLE Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, depression, and migraines. I have a neck and middle and lower back injury. To top all that off I just lost a breast to a TB strain infection.

I have had 21 HBOT treatments now and WOW what a difference! At first I noticed I was very sleepy after the treatments. When I got home I slept like a log (I've been suffering from insomnia due to Fibromyalgia) which was a wonderful surprise. I also noticed I was soaked. I had been detoxing while I slept. I eventually had more energy during the day and I found that my trigger points were not as sensitive resulting in less fatigue.

I then started to notice the brain fog I suffered from had lifted and that I could now remember where I had left my keys last. So my memory had also improved.

When I went to get my blood work done to make sure my body was TB free (so I can have my re-constructive surgery done.) I got the thumbs up. I am TB free!

I would recommend this treatment to just about everyone because there are so many benefits to HBOT. Between everything I have read and personally experienced I can tell you it is so worth it to do the treatments.

The staff at Under Pressure are just the best! They are very kind, informative, and make you feel very comfortable while your having your treatments. They are both very professional and like part of your family at the same time.

I really believe HBOT will be used more and more as the information of its benefits become better known.

Hearing Loss

As someone who suddenly lost her hearing in one ear, HBOT has helped me regain more than 50% of my hearing. My hearing tests before and after therapy showed such great improvement, my ENT specialist was actually a little surprised by how much I have recovered. It was a great experience undergoing HBOT, mainly because I knew I was in great hands at Underpressure. Bill is so knowledgeable and has such a great spirit, he and Julie make you feel such at ease; when I walk into Underpressure, I feel so comfortable, I almost feel like I am right at home.

C4/C5 Quadriplegic

I have been a C4/C5 quadriplegic since 1987. Before I began my HBOT treatments I was suffering from chronic bladder infections, pressure sores resulting from sitting in a wheelchair 12-15 hours daily, and at the end of a day poor posture, as well as neck, shoulder and back pain. I had been a terrible insomnia for the past 13 years as well as experiencing an increase in my muscle spasms.

Since beginning HBOT treatments in April I have not had a single bladder infection. My muscle spasms have been reduced by at least 50% and all of my skin issues are completely healed and behind me (no pun intended). At the end of a long day my posture is dramatically improved as well as my overall strength. I experience little if any back, shoulder and neck pain. Sleep...what a wonderful thing to experience a good night's sleep on a regular basis again. I'd almost given up on that idea. I sleep like a baby, and wake up fully energized. I cannot say enough good things about the dramatic improvement I've experienced to the quality of my health. I feel at least 10 years younger. Bill and his staff are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. You feel welcome the second you enter through the door.
